Does anyone know were I can get a starter housing for a 8 hp Model J8RENM?

Best I can tell that housing was used on 6 & 8 HP Johnson & evinrude models in '91 & '92, part # 335962. It does say no longer available, but if you keep posting/ looking for that part #, and checking different boat dealerships, Marinas, and such, you might run across one in a scrap yard somewhere that has one in good condition you can buy?

Good luck. Check all the outboard forums, many owners upgrade at different dealerships, especially if their motor quits running, so parts are possible.
