Is it normal for small amounts of grease to leak out of the motor near the front where the lower unit meets that upper unit? It looks like there is actually a small hole there. I have not noticed any leaking in the past but ran the motor in my driveway about a week ago and noticed some drops on the ground and on the motor just today. Thank you !

Very small amount over 2 weeks probably is not cause for concern but needs to be cleaned and rechecked. Unburned fuel will leak out exhaust sometimes, it will be very black like soot. -
Only oil in that motor is lower unit oil and power trim fluid if has power trim. Check lower unit for water in oil and check seals for oil leaks.Comment

Lower unit seals, can pressure test lower unit to see if seals will hold pressure.Comment
