hi, i have a johnson V4, J110 TLCUR.
put it away at the end of summer last year, everything running perfectly, took it out this summer, and the right hand bank is getting hot.
the buzzer works, put in new sending units last year, new water pump beginning of last year. took out and checked the thermostats this year- when i discovered the heating problem, checked them in hot water, they were opening and closing fine- both exactly the same. the right hand plastic bypass doo-hickey was a bit melted, anyway- replaced the the thermostats and the two nylon bypass valves..
finally got it all together, and its still getting hot.
i have an aftermarket temp gauge and sensor that i installed last year- its on the right hand bank top piston, the buzzer seems to be going off at about 160 f, or about 70 c
where to now!!???
