1984 Johnson 80HP starting problems

Its a 1984 Johnson 80HP Model# J70ELCRD. When I turn the key, all I get is a "click" at the primer solenoid. Could this be a blown solenoid? A blown starter? Both? Any ideas? Also, should I have the fuel hooked up before trying to see if the motor kicks over?

OK, solenoid fixed.... cranking but not firing up.

I replaced the primer solenoid, it is cranking over, has good spark. It won't fire up though. Any suggestions?

The primer solenoid is the choke solenoid and has a red valve on it for manual choke, pump up fuel primer bulb and turn manual valve to see if will start on manual choke.
