Hi,
I just replaced my lower unit on this mototr. The mechanic simply mounted it to my motor and it works fine, with the exception of the shift.
The motor is stuck in forward, so I have no reverse.
I could ask my mechanics (and I will do) but he is gone until next Monday.
So, in the meantime, my question is the following: is there a simple way I can check if he locked the shift to forward?
I remember he talked about that at a certain point, because the old lower unit had a shift problem. To my knowledge the magnets are ok.
Is it possible that simply something is unplugged?
Thanks!
