2001 90hp s.l.o.w. alarm

I have a 2001 johnson j90plsif(d) and the s.l.o.w. alarm is chirping when the engine is running. it is not on continuously and that is why I need help. there are no alarm leds lit up on the console and sometimes the engine will go down to 2500 rpm (as it is suppose to do when the alarm is working). I have changed the temp. sensors and the diode in the wiring harness. my next step is to check the oil level sensor in the oil tank. is their something else i need to check?

An intermitten alarm is oil warning, may be a problem with VRO pump. You might want to add 50:1 oil mix to gas to make sure engine is getting oil until you find problem.
