I have a good one for you guys. Just finished putting headgasket on right bank of 2000 J130PLSSS. New thermostats on both sides. Cranked it up and right bank proceeded to get hot so I shut it off. I removed and tested the thermostat and it's good. I cranked it again with thermo cover removed and discovered no water is getting into the right bank water jacket. Indicator tube water is following normally. Also, when I had the head off I made sure water passages were clear. I don't have a clue what could be wrong. Any ideas?
Here's some more info. I back flush the motor through the pisser tube and water flowed freely out the thermostat opening. Started the engine again and water began flowing from thermostat housing this time and conitnued to flow. Shut engine off reinstalled themostat and cover. Restarted and right bank getting too hot again. Removed themostat and cover, no water. Something is blocked somewhere.
