1993 50HP Johnson Spewing Gas at a switch on side of motor

Hello All, I was hoping some of you experts could help me out with this problem I have. This is a 1993 Johnson 50HP outboard engine, and it has this little red switch on the side of the motor, if you're standing behind the engine it's on the right side. It will only run with the switch flipped up towards the top, and gas spews out of that switch, or out somewhere around that switch like crazy. The engine will not run with the switch flipped downward. I have attached a picture of this switch that I took with my cell phone tonight, and when I uploaded it to my computer it flipped the picture sideways. If someone could point me in the right direction on what I need to replace or look for, would be greatly appreciated.

Service valve w/oring

Your Sevice Valve is cracked and has to be replaced. You may be able to replace just the SERVICE VALVE W/ORING 18-0871 or you may require the SERVICE VALVE KIT 18-7044 which has the top gasket to the primer solenoid.
