I have a 2001 135 HP with a new sealed battery. Battery has been load tested and is good. Noticed a few difficult starts on the weekends. Battery is now dead. Jumped it, ran it, low voltage alarm buzzed for 10 min, trim would not work, voltage meter did not move from 11, buzzer turned off, then tilt worked. Turned it off. It immediately started again. Two days of sitting later, battery is dead. What do I do next? Not sure where to use a voltage meter. Thanks

sounds like something is using power if it goes dead just by sitting. unhook 1 of the battery wires and with everything off touch the battery connetion with that end an look for a small spark( might have too wait till dark too see it, and if you do have a small spark then something is using power. I f so then leave 1 wire off the battery till you find the problem.

Recent update: took it out this weekend and voltmeter was charging at a higher rate 12-13. But, when I hit a hard wave, every gauge went dead and the low voltage buzzer started going off. I haven't found a short or loose wire (yet) so I put a battery disconnect switch on it until I do.
