Hey, I'm new here. I'm also new to outboard motors. I just bought a 1992 Boston Whaler with a 1992 Johnson 90 on it. I mistakenly put 10 gal of ethanol fuel in the tank. There was about 10 gal of non ethanol already in the tank, so that diluted it somewhat. I also put a little "Star-tron" stabilizer in the tank. So now the tank is about 3/4 full of this mixture. I haven't run the boat yet. I'd hate to have to syphon the tank since I'm not set-up to do that. I only plan to run the boat a few short times before I winterize it. What are the chances this mixture is going to create havoc if I just let things go as they are?

There are literately thousands of outboard running today in waters that are suitable for boating at this time of year via using that very fuel with no problems.
What are the odds that you would be singled out the the Fuel Trouble God of OhOhville to have your boat outing ruined because you mistakenly joined the crowd. Should you encounter trouble, in all probability, it was already set in that engine, lurking, just waiting for you that turn the key!
Seriously, that mixture isn't going to hurt anything and will be gone during your first outing.
