175 ocean runner fuel issue

Ok the problem I have is on the main tank it idled and will run 5mphno problem as I throttle up to 10 15 mph it Boggs and stalls out. Sometimes takes a few mins to start other times starts right up. I hook up my 6 gallon tank and it will do 25 before it starts doing this used to hit 30 no longer. Now it's doing the same thing on the 6 gallon tank I can't go over 10 mph unless you pump the bulb.

What I did was replaced pick up in tank removed anti siphon valve replaced all lines to engine and tried a sierra and a racor filter housings. I rebuilt all 6 carbs rebuilt vro, replaced pulse limiter, Power pack optical sensor coils plugs and even replaced the engine harness. Compression is 90 on 5 cylinders and 80 on #6

Checked the tank for common issues found nothing fuel is good and clean tank is spotless inside. I don't know where to go from here could the vro have an issue I missed when rebuilding it? I found nothing wrong inside

Did you remove and clean the high speed jets carefully with a piece of single strand steel wire? If not, do so as solvent and pressurized air just doesn't do that job properly.

Your talking about the needle valves? The torque with springs through the carbs in the throttle assemblies? How many turns should they be when I put hem back in?

NO..... I am speaking of the brass fixed high speed jets. They are located horizontally in the bottom center portion of the float chambers... way in back of the drain screw. They can be removed as they are secured via 1/4x20 threads (same as the drain screws).

Fuel must flow through those jets before it can flow to any other passageway.

I changed the float bowls because they were warped and swapped over those jets. I did spray them down but didn't clean them with anything other than carb cleaner

Removed the high speed jets all open and free and cleaned them really good with a wire and cleaner but nothing came out of any of them What would be the next step to try

You didn't say what year that 175hp is.... what year?

Check that the timer base (spark advance) under the flywheel isn't sticking.

Check that the throttle butterflies just start to open when the scribe mark on the cam is dead center with the throttle roller.

Took to a mechanic it's the vro leaking internally into the pulse limiter and flooding the 6th cylinder. Ordered new vro
