Johnson fuel problem
Finally got to the bottom of my fuel problem. The metal pickup tube in the tank had a screen filter inside of it that has trash on the end and when trying to go at high throttle would suck up tight thus starving the motor of fuel.
I ran boat for several miles on Friday and it ran as good as it has ever run. The only exception is that when throttling back the motor would just die. It will start back up and run good but dies after running at high throttle. Is this a carb adjustment?
