[DEFEAT 1958]

Recently ended up with a Johnson Seahorse
On the starboard side of the shaft the numbers 27E250 are cast.
Below that is stamped #481853.
It has 2 cylinders.
Any help with What?, When? etc would be appreciated.

Those numbers are meanly to me. On side of what shaft?

Metal hood- 1 piece of several pieces, fiberglass hood, Generator, electric starter, color if original? Whatever you can think of.
