1997 175HP Water Temp Gauge (j175exeue)

Was thinking of installing a water temp gauge, but not sure where to put it.

Has anyone done this? I have used a temp gauge on a digital multi meter I have and it reads 155F on a top cylinder and 160F on one of the bottom cylinders.
