I have a 2001 j30jrsie 2 stroke jet motor on a 1648 flat bottom. The engine runs smooth but seems down on power and wont plane the boat out. I've put a new impeller and sleeve in the jet, a new power pack and temp sensor and had the entire fuel system rebuilt. while running you can pull the plug wire off of the bottom cylinder and it don't effect the way it runs but if you hook it back up and pull the spark plug wire off the top cylinder it will kill the engine. Did a spark gap test and it will jump 1/2" spark on both cylinders, compression was 140 on both cylinders and tried spraying fuel in the carb with it running and it didn't make a difference. I'm stumped on it and the boat shop cant figure it out either. Any help would be appreciated.
