1996 faststrike done!

I have a 1996 fast strike 150 that bit the dust yesterday, while I was being a boat captain for my son's high school fishing team in Virginia. It has a nice hole in the crankcase.
I am trying to figure out the best way to repower this motor and if a 175 power head would fit on the mid and lower unit I have.
The model is J150GLEDB serial number is G040743.
This is my first time on this site, so bear with me.

Better to stay with 150 powerhead instead of trying to rejet carbs and such and end up damaging the new engine.
