I am trying to figure out what this cable/strap is called and also where I can buy one. Let me know. Thanks!

It is a braided ground wire/ bonding wire, it should connect to a location on the midsection of the motor. It is braided because it has to flex repeatedly when motor tilts, and turns.

Should be able to buy at local parts dealership that sells parts for your motor.
Can also look up online, get part # and google part # with name.
