1994 Johnson 140hp

Traded my step father a swb c10 for the old fourwinns. equiped with a o/b 140 johnson, back in '09 he had the water pump replaced, carbs rebuilt, new power packs... and whatever else ???? the mechanic had told him the engine must not have many hours due to the compression and the very littlle signs of wear. well he never took the boat out after this. so it has sat up for 6= years, just wanting to know what should be replaced and looked at for sitting this long. Thanks in advance!

If it sat up that long, without running at all? Condensation internally could have caused needle bearings, or other precision steel surfaces to begin rusting.

Humidity alone will affect the life of outboards, if not used.
