Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum, and I have a 90's 48 spl in great shape, that I bought as a replacement for a 50hp force that was stolen off my 15' bayliner. This motor runs great, and gets my little bayliner on plane immediately. So much more power than the 50hps force I had. Anyway, the control box has a rotating dial under the ignition key, that I have no idea what its purpose is. Same for a small four hole electrical plug of some sort that sticks out underneath this dial. Being new to Johnson's, I still need to get an owner's manual. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
