Johnson 115hp Oceanpro 1997
Hi,
Just thought i would add my comments on the 1997 Johnson 115hp Oceanpro.
We have owned this since new and have done around 700hr. Great motor, never really had major issues with this apart from the odd power pack or electrical fault. Most of these could have been avoided if the maintanence had been kept up, (clean battery terminals).
A few fuel issues but mainly from blocked hoses or filters.
I have a slight issue at present with fuel i am guessing.
Runs on the garden hose ok (slight miss)
Then once in the water, when the power comes on it wont get over 2500rpm until i pump the fuel bulb.
Then its away. It will run sweet for days and days but will repeat once if the boat has been sitting.
I am guessing either a slight fuel block or air leak.
