I have a 1999 j40j johnson outboard and while running the other day i lost rpms causing to run extremely slow. Idle speed was rough . When it stalled it would always restart. I found the hose and nipple on the electric primer cracked and leaking badly. The hose goes to the t inline then to the carbs. Would that leak cause lack of fuel as well as a air intake leak leading to my problem. I no i can order the top plate of the primer pump. please respond at your earliest convenience.
