I have a 93 Oceanrunner . The VRO is putting my motor into safe mode. The tan wire comming from the VRO pump is sending off a very weak ground signal. This signal is not strong enough to set off the alarm. I tested the alarm by putting a solid ground to the same wire and the alarm goes off. My oil tank is full and the primer bulb is hard. What does the weak ground tell me? Because it is not strong enough to set off the alarm does that mean that the VRO is ok and that the wiring from the unit could be bad, or something else causing this week ground? Is it ok to run the motor the way it is? Motor is smoking like normal and plugs have oil on them.
