Steering tension issue

I have an early 90's 20hp tiller. It has the shifter up front.
Can't keep the boat straight tiller always pulls left. Feels like your arm is getting pulled off at full throttle! when just idling in gear motor automatically goes left.
Is there a tension screw or any type of adjustment I can make to make the motor run true?
