What is this leaking out of the lower unit on my late 1980's 30HP Johnson?
When running it is a combination of water and black stuff that looks like unused, burnt fuel oil mixture. (First two pics)
When I shut the motor off, the black stuff comes out for 1-2 more minutes. (Last two pics.)
Motor is sitting on a stand in my shed. Not using it for boating or fishing. But, I do want to sell it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
