hey guys-
Been fighting with 25hp johnson (j25telcca) since last summer. So far: rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, all new fuel hoses. Compression good, new plugs, thermostat, water pump kit. Link n sync per seloc.
It has never run very well since i've owned it- i'm thinking it's a fuel issue but can't seem to pin it down. Currently it will only run after using manual primer 3x, and then continuing to move manual primer in and out. I've had carb apart 3-4 times and needle/float don't seem to be sticking. Checked float height 3x.
When I had carb apart I soaked and then blew out with air, also cleaned smaller passages with small wire.
Any ideas? I'm beyond frustrated with this thing.
