  • 1993 200hp Ocean Runner, CHECK VALVE .....

    Hello everyone,

This is my first post and hopefully someone can solve my issue. I have diagnosed my high and poor idle issue to some bad check valves. I inspected all of my check valves behind the intake manifold with isopropyl alcohol and a syringe. About 50% of the fittings are bad.

My problem is that the check valve part with the screen appears to be Pressed into the block. How in the world do I remove these??? There is no access anywhere to them. I am not even sure if there is a valve in this screen fitting or not? P/N 434900 Here are 2 pics of the check valve assembly I am referring to and I have 6 of these suckers to deal with.

The other part has a barb on it and does appear to have a one way valve, that comes out no problem. P/N 436194 Thanks in advance!

Here's a pic of the check valve portion which is pressed in the block. The little round brass fittings. There must be some way to extract these ?

Have to use a screw and screw into valve then can pull it out with pliers.
