1996 150 ocean runner

I have a 1996 150 ocean runner when I frist got it ran just fine then I took to the mechanic for comp check and to change the lower unit oil after I got it back it runs like crap when I prim the fuel to the engine the fuel comes out the carbs
then I start it and it will run for a lil bit then turn off and if I hit the key again it will do the same any body have any ideas or know what it is ?
last time I took it out it would take off nice then die ill prime it again and the same take off then die out so I ran it really slow and it would take longer to die but got back out the water

If it hasn't been run for a while then carbs are probably varnished up, may need to remove and clean carbs.
