Johnson 5HP to 8HP ??

Hello,

I have a BJ5DREUC of 1997 (5HP). When I check the model BJ8RCB (8HP) I see almost the same carburator. Can someone tell me if it is possible to upgrade the 5HP to 8HP bij replacing only the nozzle well (part 27)?

Don't think so, I think there are internal engine parts that are different.
If you need more horsepower, you might think about upsizing to a larger engine.
