High speed pulsing

Just installed carb repair kits in my 1998 40 HP electric start.
Engine pulses strongly above 2000 RPM.
Any suggestions?
I'm new to the "Forum", and am unable to get beyond "Need Security token" to seek help.

Try pumping primer bulb, or bumping choke to see if helps. If does its starving for gas. Check timing and all linkage is set right.
