Johnson 1981 15hp Smokes from upper mounts

Started the latest "gift" motor up today (1981 15 hp Johnson)and outside of needing some waterpump attention it runs well except it smokes from the area around the upper rubber mounts .Am I correct in assuming that I have a comprimised powerhead gasket ? Is there something else that would explain exhaust in this area?

Probably does need new powerhead gasket.
