I recently acquired this motor and it will not start on its own. I suspect it is a choke issue. When I pull the choke control out, I have to do so in a quick manner for the choke plate to close. There is little resistance. The springs are there. The choke is either all the way open or all the way closed. No in between. If I choke the engine before trying to start, the choke pull slips back in after 1 or 2 pulls. Is there some way to adjust the tension of the choke or is this how the choke is supposed to work on this motor?
