Hello:

What is the best way to hoist a 1996 Johnson 90 hp? Have to move it over to replace the steering tube.

Hi , I had to lift my 85 to replace alum. transom , just used a reg old engine hoist, should be a lift hook on the top of your blk. That being said can u not just turn the wheel enuf to pull out the steering shaft or do you mean the shaft the steering rod runs thru.?

The transom brace is in the way. I would have to cut the hole that the cable runs through much larger.
