Just bought a 1980 2hp Johnson that had been sitting for years. Carb was gummed up so bad you couldn't ever turn the needle valves. Totally took it apart and cleaned it. Rebuilt the water pump. Starts on 1st pull and runs great, but only on full choke. Will start dying then going to half choke runs good then starts dying and have to go back to full choke. Have to keep jocking the choke back and forth to keep running. Will completely quit if I take it off choke. What will solve this problem?
