115 horse power johnson motor problem

Hi , if anyone has any information on what may be the problem with my motor it would be of great help. When i increase the throttle for more power ,it starts to power the boat then it seems like the motor slips out of gear and proceeds to rev at high speed until i back off on the throttle .At low speed it is not a problem.

Have prop hubs checked may have a hub slipping.
