I have a 2000 model Johnson 15 hp that is kinda hard starting checked compression on both cyl,s top is 85 pounds and lower is 80. is it time for a rebuild?
Might try running some combustion chamber cleaner through it to clean carbon from pistons and rings, add some Yamaha Ring Free or Evinrude Engine Tuner to gas according to directions on bottle.
