i have just picked 1989 25 hp motor.Motor runs strong but have some problems i bought motor used from marine shop.rebuild primer and carb still getting to much fuel to plugs.Reset fuel and ignition per service manual.Reset idle at the lake.Decided to purchase new carb might need some help to find problem.

Check the fuel pump, diaphram in fuel pump may have hole in it.
