It's on there very tight but with the correct puller and correct puller bolts the flywheel can be removed, if you don't have the correct bolts then the chance of stripping out bolt holes in flywheel are very likely. Have you tested the stator output?

I haven't tested it yet just unplugged connections and still no fire
