roller sleeve

i have a 1996 115hp j115sledr at the top of the carb choke rod is a rod that extends toward the fly wheel it has a roller on the end looks like a plastic tube i thought it was a throttle sleeve i ordered one and it looks nothing like the one i got can some one tell me what it's called

Hopefully another member will jump in here with the info you need. I unfortunately retired in 1991 and am not familiar with your model engine.

If you are talking about part number 0432639 then yes that is the roller for throttle linkage and there has been many changes in it over the years, the new part will fit and last a lot longer than original roller.
