  • Slight side to side movement in crank

I have a 1989 Johnson 200 GT with 20 hours since rebuild (aledgedly). When I grab the flywheel (and flywheel is tight) and push it back and forth I get a slight crank movement. I can't actually see it move and can barely feel it, but I have no problem hearing it. When I stand behind the motor and try the same thing I barely get any movement at all, seems tighter. Is it normal to have some play in the crank/bearings, even if the motor actually does have 20 hours on it? Thanks for your help.

Hello? Is this sight government owned?

No shouldn't be any movement, may have a bad bearing or worn crank.
