Johnson Outboard and CMC PT-130 Electric Hydraulic Tilt and Trim

I purchased a used 1987 Chris Craft Cavalier. It has a Johnson 115 Sea Horse with a CMC PT-130 Tilt/trim. It appears to me that its not mounted exactly on the center of the transom, just a little to the right side. Im new at boating,just thought it should be in the middle. Very nice boat and runs well. Any input would be appreciated!
