Looking to purchase a Johnson 88spl, but compression test came back as follows:130,120,135,115.

I understand they are off, but any advice on whether this could be a simple solution or is it likely a rebuild?

Ive heard these motors are workhorses. Thanks in advance.

Run some carbon cleaner through engine and recheck compression, if doesn't even out then would need rebuild.

Thanks, its on a boat that we are interested in, and we were going to look into repowering down the road, but I wanted to see if I could get a year or so out of it?
