Hello, Could anyone tell me if it is necessary to have another fuel pump with a bow tank or is the one on the engine sufficiant.The distance from the tank to the outboard is 9ft My outboard is a 90hp 1982.Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.Many thanks from Flat Top.

It makes no difference where the tank supply is.... think about the distance the fuel has to travel to the engine is say a 25' Mako... or larger.
The fuel is still running horizontal so it makes no difference what the length of travel is..... it is the height of travel that makes a difference.
Now... If you install that tank 20' down or so... that is another story!
