I have a 2007 9.9 4 stroke, electric start w/remote control. I have a bad cold start solenoid and since it is so expensive I am considering replacing with a 15hp carb. Suzuki parts are less expensive and they are the same engines from what I understand. Can you tell me if the suzuki carb comes with the cold start solenoid or which carb I need? 13200-94J60

The DF15 models carbs do not come with electric choke enrichment valves, only DF9.9 do. Df15 are manual start with choke cable. 13200-94J30 is the carb for a DF9.9 electric start, remote model that does come with enrichment valve. -
Since the DF models did not come with electric choke enrichment valves I assume I would have to use the Johnson/Evinrude part. The best I can tell the only difference between the 9.9 and the 15hp is the diameter of carb bore. Do you know if this is correct? 5036461
