The battery is no longer charging on my 1989 90 HP. I have been told if the tach quits, it's an indication the battery won't charge. In this case, the Tach is working fine but the battery doesn't charge.
I found a 1986 90 HP schematic which should be close to my 1988 90 HP. On that it looks like the charging circuit would be terminal block numbers 1 and 2. I would expect AC across those or between those and ground.
Is that correct?
