J150GLEDB 1996 Will not idle at all without bottle feeding with fuel.

Hi I have a 1996 J150GLEDB (optical motor) for some reason it will not idle at all. It starts right up and runs and then acts like it runs out of fuel. If I bottle feed it with gas it will run all day. I have tried a new vro and the vapor pump that attaches to it. Still the same problem. Pulled carbs and cleaned twice and they seem to be spottless. When I first start working on it it would go wide open fine just not idle now it will only run no matter one for a minute or so and then run out of fuel. I did some research on the carburetors and found that the port and starboard are different part numbers which I did not realize I thought that all 6 were the same. Could someone verify if they are different and if so how do I tell the difference. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

There is port carbs and stbd carbs, throttle linkage is different. Check the low speed jets and passages are clean in carbs and manifold gasket are good.
