Needle bearings on 15hp johnson

I have a 15R77M Johnson outboard which is a 1977 15 hp. I have removed the bearing carrier and the two seals that are back to back . I am trying to remove the needle bearing and wondered if it comes out the rear of the housing or if I need the remove the front bearing and drive it out someway, I would appreciate any input.

Remove the gear/bearing and drive needle bearing out back where seals were.
