I have a 2006 15hp fourstroke that is slow to take the throttle. It will backfire and spudder before getting up to speed. Plugs have been changed and carb cleaned. ais there any carb adjustments I can make to help?

Looks like nobody answers questions on Johnson motors. Been 3 days and no activity. Got my question answered quick about my Yamaha. -
They used to. I don,t know what happened. But must of the time they just said to clean the carbs. Plus they gave me wrong info.Comment

2004 johnson 4 stroke same issue
I have a 2004 15 with the same issues , I have cleaned carb twice ,rebuilt it twice and put new plugs in and it still bogging ,I just recently called a buddy to see if it could be the neutral safety switch acting up somehow but he has not got back to me the only other thing I am wondering if it could be is the fuel pump. Starting to get really frustrated.Comment
