I just purchased a used boat that the owner said the T?T did not work but he had the part (Tilt/Trim motor) to make it work. I bought it and put the motor on and when I tried it I could here the motor working, but it would not move the tilt up/down.
I am a novice with boats and wondering what I do next? I thought maybe there was a problem with the reservoir (the parts list says it is obsolete: what does that mean?) but don't know if that is a logical next step or what?
Any thoughts?
