I have a 95 v4 looper 130 that coughs and sputters something fierce while its running, sometimes it pops so bad I swear I saw a ball of flame shoot out of the exhaust. It'll stall eventually but I can just crank it right back up again. I Just cleaned the carbs out not that long a go, found some water in the fuel, got rid of that problem, still does it. The CDI box was replaced a year or so ago, and I replaced the VRO pump with a retro-fit dual old style pump about the same time.
Where should I start with this, as far as I can tell everthing seems fine and I dont want to just go start randomly replacing parts. would a bad fuel pump diaphram letting air in the system cause that. Please help I'm at my whits end here.
