I have a 2003 70HP Johnson 4 stroke #J 70PL 4SN and the trim pump assembly BRP#5032920 on it is shot! its been to two marinas already since May and they cannot fix it because the part is OBSOLETE last marina sent it to a hydraulic rebuilding shop and they spent 6 hours on it and they cannot rebuild it...they tried new seals and no success either... I have searched the web for a used one and no success...I called BRP and SUZUKI because this motor is made by Suzuki and they tell me its unavailable...I have a perfect running motor in top shape and cannot do anything with it because the trim pump is shot............ does anybody share this problem or have any good advise for me at this point!!!

Try E-Bay. Try a generic search of Johnson Tilt and Trim, there are alot of complete units on there that are either used, for parts only, and some have been rebuilt. You may have to search and see if the ones listed will fit your application, but those units were usually in production and used for several years. Not sure why BRP doesn't stock parts for a unit thats only 10 years old...
